Thinking of going to University? We have a role for you: Apprentice MEP Engineer. While studying towards a Level 6 Apprenticeship in Building Services Design Engineering, you will be working on a construction site in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you want to join a dynamic team where you will put in practice your academic skills and grow within the business.

As an Apprentice MEP Engineer, you will be supervised by the MEP Manager and will assist them in the completion of the construction project.

You will monitor the installation on site and report to the MEP Manager any deviations from the plan namely in terms of quality and activities progress. You will participate in the control of every step of the construction site from the file review to works receipt.

Your main duties:

• To work closely with the MEP Manager and production team:
  • assessing suppliers 
  • assisting in the design and development of M&E
  • supporting to draft contract conditions 

• To build strong relationships with key stakeholders on site and with external parties (consultants, client, architects etc.) 
• To spend time on construction site:
  • Coordinating sub-contractors :
  • supervising construction work and programme 
  • monitoring labour, material and equipment 
  • maintaining quality 
  • ensuring Legendre UK H&S standards are adhered to on site and being an example in H&S

Profile and work environment

Your profile

You will be supported in working towards a BEng (Hons) Building Services Design Engineering Degree, you must have: 

• A Level BBC – Must include Mathematics and preferably a Science in either Chemistry or Physics (UCAS points: 112) or
• T-level (Merit or above) in Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning (UCAS points: 120) or
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DDM in an Engineering subject area, with a minimum of merit in Mathematics and further Mathematics (UCAS points: 112) or
• BTEC Level 3 National Diploma D*D* in an Engineering subject area, with a minimum of merit in Mathematics and Further Mathematics (UCAS points: 112) or
• Building Services Engineering Technician level 3 apprenticeship DD (UCAS points: 96) alongside grade Pass or Distinction at EPA or
• 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above)
